Most of the Americans who were approved to receive money from the German government because they were imprisoned in Nazi camps should receive their share of about $18.5 million from Germany by the end of the summer, according to a source familiar with the talks. As a result of an agreement between the United States and Germany, the U.S. Treasury will make one-time payments ranging from $30,000 to $250,000 to about 235 survivors.
