One resolution condemning Israel’s treatment of children and another maneuver to remove Israel’s credentials from the West Bank and Gaza Strip fell through as a result of lobbying by Israel, B’nai B’rith, and the Women’s International Zionist Organization and the support of the United States, according to Jewish leaders.
