The movement of Jews from Italy to Israel has gradually decreased from an average of 2,500 per month in 1948 to 360 as of May, 1949, it was announced here today. The figures refer only to Jews in Italian refugee camps, not to these passing through Italy. Between August, 1948, and May, 1949, a total of 14,713 Jews were transferred from Italian camps to Israel.
