Mrs. Jack A. Goodman of Indianapolis, nationally prominent philanthropic figure and civic leader, has been chosen to serve again as chairman of the Women’s Division of the United Jewish Appeal, it was announced today by Morris W. Berinstein, UJA national chairman. Mrs. Goodman is a former president of the Indianapolis Jewish Federation.
Mr. Berinstein also announced the appointment of Mrs. S. Alexander Brailove, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, one of the UJA’s outstanding women leaders, as chairman of the National Women’s Division Rescue Fund. She will enlist women’s support to the $100,000,000 Rescue Fund being conducted in addition to the regular 1958 UJA campaign.
