Mrs. Ida Kaminska, director of the now nearly defunct Jewish State Theater of Poland, is in New York, possibly to pursue her stage career in this country. She arrived with her husband, actor-producer Meir Melman, a son, daughter and grand-daughter. She left Poland several months ago, went to Israel, and arrived here aboard a chartered flight from Vienna carrying 36 Jewish refugees from Poland, Czechoslovakia and other Eastern European countries. Their migration was assisted by the United Hias Service.
