Mrs. Levi Eshkol, wife of Israel’s Prime Minister, arrived in New York today for a 10-day tour of five cities in behalf of the Israel Bond drive. She will be the guest of honor at a luncheon Monday, sponsored by the Greater New York’ Women’s division of the Bond drive. The luncheon will mark the formal opening of the division’s fall campaign to sell $2,500,000 in Israel bonds. The occasion is the second Eleanor Roosevelt Award luncheon.
Mrs. Eshkol first visited this country last June, when she came here with Mr. Eshkol at the invitation of President Johnson, She will also address Israel bond meetings in Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago and Los Angeles.
