Premier Golda Meir told a student audience at Negev University last night that she intends to serve out her full four year term if re-elected next Oct. She added that she would do this if her health permits and the Labor Party wishes her to stay in office.
Mrs. Meir labeled “a poor journalistic invention” recent press reports that she intended to serve only a year and step down in favor of someone else. Asked if she favored resumption of diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union, the Premier replied that she did, but not at the expense of Jewish emigration from the USSR.
