Mrs. Ophira Navon, wife of President Yitzhak Navon of Israel, is at tending a special conference in Acapulco in connection with the International Year of the Child, also attended by the wives of presidents of many Asian, African and latin American countries. She was warmly received by Mrs. Carmen Romano de Lopez Portillo, wife of the President of Mexico. Mrs. Navon proposed the creation in Mexico City of an asylum for children of war victims. Her suggestion was well received by the other delegates, many of them from countries that have no diplomatic relations with Israel, and by the Mexican press.
