Moshe Kol. Jewish Agency member and Youth Aliyah director, has presented Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt with an album prepared by the children of Israel and the Youth Aliyah as a gift for her. Mrs. Roosevelt is a world patron of the Israeli youth movement.
Mr. Kol, who was a luncheon guest of Mrs. Roosevelt, informed her that Youth Aliyah has brought 60,000 children and youth from 70 different countries to Israel. It currently is responsible for some 13,500 children and youth and is expanding its program to accommodate an additional 500 each month. Major support for the program is provided by the Hadassah.
