Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt yesterday received an honorary Doctorate of Laws at a special convocation here marking the 64th academic year of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Dr. Lyman Bryson, Professor of Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and Dr. Robert M. MacIver, Lieber Professor Emeritus of Political Philosophy at Columbia University, received honorary degrees of Doctor of Letters, while Salmon Schocken, chairman for many years of the board of governors of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, received an honorary Doctorate of Hebrew Letters.
