Mrs. Shana Mabovitz Kreingold, one of the two sisters of Premier Golda Meir, died here last night at the age of 83 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Kreingold, who came to Palestine with Mrs. Meir in 1923, was the author of a biography of the Premier. Mrs. Kreingold’s husband, Samai Kreingold, died 20 years ago. He had been active in the work of the Histadrut. The Premier’s other sister, Mrs. Clara Stern, lives in Bridgeport, where she was a social worker.
