The Polish authorities have changed their minds about permitting Mrs. Elisabeth Trepper to visit her ill daughter-in-law in Copenhagen, it was reported here by her son Edward Trepper, who spoke with her by telephone. Mrs. Trepper’s husband, Leopold, headed the underground “Red Orchestra” in World War II. Both have been barred from leaving Poland for Israel. Edward Trepper staged a hunger strike at the Western Wall last month to protest that refusal.
