Mrs. Samuel Untermyer, wife of the wellknown lawyer, died here, at the age of 65 after a prolonged illness, which she contracted while visiting with her husband in Carlsbad two years ago.
Mrs. Untermyer, who was before her marriage Miss Minnie Carl, daugher of Menlius and Pauline Carl, was throughout her life interested in music and flowers and in social activities. Their home at Graystone Yonkers had open doors for writers, poets and musicians.
The funeral took place today. Rev. John Haynes Holmes of the Community Church, officiating.
