Haj Amin el Husseini, Grand Mufti of Palestine, left here today for Mocca, where he will attend a congress of Arab leaders from all parts of the Near East, the Havas News Agency reported.
He was accompanied by the leaders of the Palestine “Wakfs” (Moslem religious organizations and will travel by way of Egypt.
Arab circles here predicted that the Grand Mufti would present a “great personal contribution” to the solution of the Arab problem in the Near East, and that the congress would have important political results.
