The formation of an Arab Labor Federation in this city, with Pakhri Bey Nashashibi, cousin of and assistant to the Mayor of Jerusalem, as the president, has provoked a strong attack by Al James Al Arabea, organ of the Mufti, Haj Amin Al Husseini, the inveterate political opponent of the Nashashibis.
The paper remarks scornfully that three members of the newly formed executive committee of the Federation have already resigned, “a sign of how successful this Federation is going to be.”
