A gravestone has been unveiled in the Jewish cemetery here for Dr. Philip Auerbach, leader of postwar German Jewry who was hounded into committing suicide just over a year ago. His widow and daughter attended the ceremony, together with his friends. The Munich Jewish community has accorded the simple black-marble shaft a pre-eminent place of honor.
