Osman Bey, the former Turkish officer who killed the Jewish girl Elsa Niego, after which a serious anti-Jewish movement was started in Turkey, has been acquitted in view of a medical report which states that he is not responsible for his actions. An appeal has been lodged against the acquittal by the counsel of the Civil Party.
