Joseph E. Britt, 21, was this week-end arraigned in a district court at nearby Minecla, Long Island, on charges of having sent threatening letters to Jewish residents of Rockville Center, L.I., during the last two years. Britt was apprehended following an investigation by detectives who checked the handwriting on the notes against the files of signatures of high school students in the community.
