The New Zionist Organization charged today that “Influential political groups in London connected with Palestine government officials” were plotting to have the group’s Palestine branch declared illegal and aimed to curb Jewish immigration. A statement issued by the organization declared the Jewish Agency for Palestine would raise no objections to outlawing of the Palestine organization.

According to the statement, efforts have been made through British officials in Iraq to arrive at an agreement with the exiled ex-mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al Hussen, for a truce with the Arab terrorists by geographical limitation of the Jewish area or direct numerical limitation of immigration that would fix the Jews as a minority.
