Henry H. Stern was today named assistant attorney-general of Missouri, according to an announcement from Jefferson City by attorney-general Stratton Shartel. He was appointed to fill a vacancy caused by the resignation of M. Cunningham. Mr. Stern is the youngest Jew ever named to such a post in this state. He is 27 years old.
