Samuel Lasch, attorney and associate judge in the Juvenile Court, has been appointed police magistrate in the northern Police Court, filling the vacancy caused by the recent death of Magistrate Jacob Schroeder. The appointment was made by Gov. Albert C. Ritchie Saturday, and is effective until May 1931.
