A danger that the Nazi policy m abolishing the sanctity of private property so far as Jews are concerned ,is undermining the basis of capitalism was pointed out today by The London Financial News, leading financial paper. The News declared that “the ghost of expropriation, once conjured up. may easily become the master of its conjurer.”
In reviewing the year of Nazi economics, the paper recalled that Hitler .in addressing the Reichstag, recognized the capitalistic principles as binding for his economic policies. But. The Financial News declared, the sanctity of private properly, equality before the law and free competition, which are the basic principles of capitalism, have been rendered negatory by limiting the application of these principles to Aryans only.
Stressing that the elimination of Jewish competition has not been confined to the key points of administration, science and the professions, but ruthlessly carried out in private business, The News denounced the elimination of Jewish competition and the placing of Jewish capital under Nazi control as spoliation.
