The United Jewish Appeal today announced the organization of a National Committee on Community Quotas to spur Jewish communities throughhout the country to give maximum support to its current $250,000,000 campaign.
The new committee consists of leaders from cities in every section of the country. It was formed yesterday at a meeting addressed by Rabbi Jonah B. Wise, William Hohenwald and Herman L. Weisman, national chairmen of the United Jewish Appeal. Bernard F. Alexander, of Trenton, N.J., was elected chairman of the new body.
