The National Council of Jewish Women today began a nation-wide drive among its 210 sections to raise ten thousand dollars for the purchase of medical equipment to be presented to the new Naval Hospital at St. Albans, Long Island, New York. The gift will be made in memory of Hannah G. Solomon, founder and first president of the Council, who died this month in Chicago.
