A Lag B’Omer street march is being arranged by the Jewish National Fund Council of Greater New York in cooperation with all Zionist youth organizations and the higher classes of Hebrew schools and Talmud Torahs of the city, according to announcement issued yesterday by Leo Wolfson, council chairman.
The Lag B’Omer march will take place on Sunday, May 13, and will proceed from Rutgers square to Union square, where several addresses will be made. From there the marchers will proceed to Woodlawn Park, the Bronx, where a field day will take place.
