With Sidney Hollander of the National Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds as spokesman, representatives of more than a dozen national organizations met today with Rep. Mary T. Norton, chairman of the House Labor Committee, to urge action on a bill setting up a permanent Fair Employment Practice Committee. Rep. Norton, who said she favored the bill, declared she would call the Committee together early next week to decide whether to hold hearings.
