The 1960 Frank L. Weil Awards of the National Jewish Welfare Board have been voted to Mrs. Hugo Dalsheimer, chairman of the Building Fund Committee of the Jerusalem YM and YWHA; Mrs. Leonard H. Bernheim, chairman of the JWB’s Women’s Organizations’ Division; Dr. A.W. Binder, music director of New York’s 92nd Street, YM and YWHA, and H. Leivick, noted Yiddish poet and playwright, it was announced here today.
Presentation of the awards–bronze medallions and engrossed citations–will be made Saturday evening, April 2, at the banquet session of the JWB’s biennial national convention in St. Louis.
