Demonstrations against the Jews took place today at the Stock Exchange and at the University of Berlin.

A group of five hundred Nazis including students and Storm Troopers in full Nazi uniform organized a demonstration outside the Stock Exchange where they proceeded to shout abuse of the Jews. “Out with Jews from the Stock Exchange!” “Down with the Jews!” “Down With the Jewish Robbers and Plunderers!” were the shouts that rang through the air.

Nazi speakers in motor lorries attempted to address the crowds around the Stock Exchange.

After this demonstration, the Nazis proceeded to the University campus, marching to the tune of “Judaea Perish!” Jewish students were driven from the University buildings, despite the efforts of Rector Kohlrausch to pacify the demonstrators.
