Walter P. Schreiber, former Nazi General who was employed by the U.S. Air Force School of Aviation Medicine at Randolph Field, Texas, will be turned over to the Joint Intelligence Agency and deported, a spokesman for Air Force headquarters said today.
The German doctor, who has been charged with complicity in concentration camp medical atrocities, is still in the custody of the Air Force at Randolph Field although his contract expired last night. Dr. Schreiber has demanded a public hearing.
