Display of anti-Jewish placards was condemned today by Freidrich Hildebrandt, Nazi Governor of Mecklenburg, speaking at Guestrow.
Showing signs which announce that “Jews Are Not Wanted Here,” which are common sights on the roads leading into many cities and towns throughout Germany, was characterized by Hildebrandt as either “unnecessary or useless.”
“Either we’re strong enough to solve the Jewish question,” he declared, “in which case the placards are unnecessary, or if we do not have the strength, the placards are useless.”
