The Jews of Australia are gravely concerned today over the news that Nazi organizations have been formed in several Australian State capitals.
A campaign is being waged to organize similar groups throughout the country, it was learned here today.
These Nazi groups are composed of German immigrants who have not yet become Australian citizens. It is their avowed purpose to “keep alive” the German spirit here.
There are about 25,000 Jews in Australia, and the Jewish settlement there dates back more than 100 years.
