Germany’s Nazi-controlled newspapers are free because they express “the real spirit of the German people,” Wilhelm Weiss, president of the German Press Association, said yesterday in a symposium on “How the Press May Serve International Peace,” according to the Havas News Agency.
Praising the Nazi press and protesting against assertions that Nazi newspaper policy threatens liberty of thought, Weiss said:
