The “Deutsche Nachrichten” here, reporting the case of the Nazi leader, Saalfeldt, the chief of the Nazi Party in Luebeck, who has been proved in court in the course of a libel action to be of Jewish birth, being registered on his birth certificate as of Mosaic religion, states that his Counsel, Dr. Brendel, a member of the Nazi Party, declared in Court on behalf of the Party that “Saalfeldt on account of his services to the Party may remain in the Party even though he is a Jew.”
