for March 5th, occur on the seventh day of Adar, according to the Jewish calendar, the very day when Haman asked King Ahasuarus of Persia to issue his decree calling for the extermination of the Jews, as recorded in the Book of Esther.
The “Familienblatt” suggests that from now on until Purim which occurs on the 14th of Adar, March 12th, rabbis recite the prayers which, according to the Talmud, Queen Esther recited in an effort to avert the menace threatening her people.
From this the “Beobachter” deduces that the Jews plan not only personal violence against Hitler but also against the German-minded section of the German people and a pogrom against “their hosts.”
The paper therefore calls for a searching investigation of the plans of the Jews to conduct a pogrom against the Christian population.
