Propaganda Ministers Goebbels’ Der Angriff, reporting the bombing of a synagogue in Zurich, said the bomb was evidently thrown by Jews “to poison the atmosphere surrounding the trial” (of David Frankfurter) and to give newspapers an opportunity to headline a Nazi attack on a synagogue as an act of terror against innocent Jews.
