Nazi Paper Attacks American Race Tolerance

Racial equality and tolerance of minorities as practiced in America are the targets of a strong attack in today’s issue of Der Schwarze Korps, official organ of Hitler’ favorite troops.

In a full-page article devoted to the subject, the publication exclaims in horror that “it is theoretically possible for a Negro to become president of the United States.”

Continuing its attack against the Jews of America, Der Schwarze Korps alleges that they play the chief role in Wall Street and that the “synagogue and Tammany Hall are working hand in hand.”

Another article in today’s issue of the paper demands that German firms sever their relations with Jewish representatives abroad and replace them with “Aryans.”

The article states that in Rumania, Egypt and other countries, 50 per cent of the goods imported from Germany is under Jewish control. Jews are doing Germany more harm than good by representing German firms abroad, the article contends.

That the demands were inspired by official sources is revealed by the fact that other newspapers simultaneously published similar demands, urging that representation be taken from Jews and handed over to local Germans especially in the Baltic States.

The same publication bitterly reprimands the German Academy of Munich for daring to include Heinrich Heine’s works in a symposium of thirty-six German poets. The paper demands that Heine’s work be eliminated because he was a “non-Aryan.”

That the world-wide boycott against Germany is relaxing is the statement made in today’s edition of the Frankfurter Zeitung, which bases its contention on figures released by the foreign trade department of the Rhine District which show an alleged increase in exports.
