The municipality of Ansbach decided not to permit more Jews to enter the town. The official pretext is the alleged shortage of houses.
All the Jews who moved to Ansbach from the neighboring towns when circumstances made it impossible for them to continue where they were, have been given four weeks notice to clear out of Ansbach. In the meantime they have been put under severe police control.
