German soldiers in Norway were told today over the Nazi-controlled Norwegian radio stations that they could be married after their twenty-first birthday, but not to women who were ever married to Jews. “The Fuehrer has decided that permission to marry women who were formerly betroth to Jews shall be refused without exception to the members of the armed forces,” the broadcast said.
