A delegation representing Polish Jews whose German citizenship has been revoked left for Warsaw today to appeal to the Polish Government for restoration of their previous citizenship. At present they are stateless.
Consulates of several nations were practically besieged with appeals for restoration of previous citizenship as a nation-wide drive got under way to rescind the German citizenship voluntarily assumed by foreign Jews years ago. These Jews, numbering in the thousands, are being left men without countries and without official protection. Revocation of German citizenship does not restore the former citizenship.
