A drive to create favorable sentiment for the Nazis in connection with the forthcoming trial of David Frankfurter in Switzerland for the murder of Wilhelm Gustloff, Nazi agent, was opened today.

National Socialist Party Correspondence, Nazi news agency, syndicated an article appealing to Switzerland to “create an honest understanding between Switzerland and Germany by exposing the poisonous inciting work of the Jewish propagandists.”

The article accused the Swiss press of neglecting to protect Gustloff’s reputation.
