The National Community Relations Advisory Council yesterday urged a United States Government airlift of relief supplies to Biafra and called upon Washington to seek international relief action through the United Nations. Recalling the Jewish “agony and horror of genocidal assault,” the NCRAC pledged to “double and redouble” the voluntary efforts of its constituent members – nine national organizations and 81 Jewish community councils in principal U.S. cities.
