Nearly $2,000 was confiscated by customs officials last night from two former members of the Jordanian Cabinet who now live in Nablus in the West Bank and were headed for Beirut, Lebanon, via Cyprus. Regulations permit no more than $250 to be taken out of the country by a traveler.
