Forty-one per cent of the Jewish immigrants who have come to Palestine during 1922 are from Poland, Ormsby Gore on behalf of the Colonial Office announced in the House of Commons yesterday.
Fourteen per cent are from the Ukraine. America contributed only two per cent and England ranks lowest in the number of Palestine settlers, sending less than a half per cent of the total of immigrants.
The figures were made known by Gore in reply to a query put by Sir Anderson.
