Four hundred and twenty free meal tickets were distributed twice daily to needy Jews through the Chief Rabbis of Palestine by the Beth Tamshil Haklali free kitchen during Passover. In addition to feeding the needy the kitchen also fed 65 prisoners and 39 Jewish policemen.
