Further anti-Jewish economic restrictions were announced here today by the Laval Government following the promulgation last week of a number of similar orders. The new measures deal with transferring Jewish property into “Aryan” hands in both occupied and unoccupied France.
The official gazette here today lists Nahum Aronson, internationally known Jewish sculptor, who is now in the United States, among the persons whose French citizenship has been revoked. Aronson is the holder of a French decoration in recognition of his artistic works, many of which are in French museums.
