New anti-Jewish excesses occurred in Kishineff, according to a report of the Ost Korrespondenz, a Balkan news agency.

Roumanian students invaded the Hotel Commerzial and the Restaurant Suzanni, mistreating the Jewish patrons and wreeking the furniture. The students also attacked the neighboring Jewish houses where they smashed the windows and did much damage. Jewish passersby were cruelly beaten. Many were injured, including non-Jews who were mistaken for Jews. One of the injured, Werman, a cattle dealer, is dying. The police restored order. unclea
