Reports reaching here today from Italy, Belgium and the occupied part of France tell of new anti-Jewish measures introduced there in the course of the last few days.
In Belgium, the Nazi military commander issued an order forbidding payment for overtime work to Belgian Jews. In Italy, it was announced yesterday that Jews will be dismissed in the course of this month from any employment in armament factories. In Paris, the Nazi authorities issued an order that Jews are forbidden to ride the subway except in special cars marked “for Jews.”
