The Israeli Army spokesman reported today a new act of Arab sabotage in the Upper Galilee near the Lebanese border, where a tool shed was wrecked by an explosion. Tracks of three persons were found leading to the Lebanese border. Israel complained to the Israel-Lebanese Mixed Armistice Commission.

The Palestine Liberation Organization today broadcast from Cairo that a terrorist battalion has been sent into Jordan to attack the palace of King Hussein and homes of his cabinet. The aim is to destroy the monarchy and open a “liberation war” against Israel all along her frontiers, the broadcast said.

The new unit was identified as the “Abdel Kader al Hussein Brigade” named after an Arab fanatic who died in the 1947 war against the Jews. The announcement said the brigade was responsible for three bombings on Monday in the Arab sector of Jerusalem.
