A new company, the Anglo-Binyan Hayishuv of Palestine, Ltd. has just been organized here. The company which will seek to develop urban and rural settlement in Palestine by the acquisition of land which it will develop and sell to private individuals and small groups on easy terms, has an initial capital of £3,000. The first directors are J. Rivlin. M. Levene, M. Chaikin, H. Aaronsohn and I. Rivlin.
The company will also undertake the plantation of orange and banana groves, and the management of small farms, giving an opportunity to Jews who are at present unable to settle in Palestine, the means for preparing themselves to do so after some years.
The Anglo-Binyun Hayishuv plans also to arrange agrarian credits for those who wish to build or plant on the land purchased from the company.
