A new edition of the Universal Jewish Encyclopedia appeared today, it was announced by Jacob Monday, president of the company which publishes the ten-volume work. Containing more than 6,000,000 words in more than 12,500 articles, the encyclopedia, which was first published in 1939, includes over 4,200 illustrations, charts and maps. Louis Rittenberg is the executive editor.
